Mr. Schuhmacher founded Ketone Partners in 2011 and has participated in the structuring, financing, ownership, acquisition, development, management and disposition of real estate projects located throughout North America. Mr. Schuhmacher has spearheaded the development of individual real estate projects ranging from $1 Million to $100 Million in total market value.
He provides a structured environment for real estate development projects, maintains open lines of communication among all team members, promotes creative thinking and acts with the utmost integrity. Investment returns are maximized by utilizing creative financing and incentive programs such as Tax Incremental Financing Districts, Tax Exempt Bond programs and grants.
Mr. Schuhmacher earned degrees in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Business Management from the University of Wisconsin — School of Business. He is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, Council of Supply Chain Professionals, Urban Land Institute, Warehousing Education and Research Council and the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties.
Kyle's grandmother used to tease him about his short attention span, not knowing that same energy would one day power a career driven by curiosity, creativity, and constant motion.

Mrs. Heaney is Vice President of Development Services at Ketone Partners. Jennifer is responsible for managing Ketone’s real estate development projects and growing its third-party project management practice. Prior to joining Ketone Partners, Mrs. Heaney was Senior Vice President at a privately traded REIT based in Chicago where she was responsible for the implementation, execution and management of its development platform in the Central United States.
Jennifer has over twelve years of experience in industrial real estate including acquisition, leasing, management, development, construction and disposition. Over the course of her career, Jennifer has underwritten and closed over 5 million square feet of acquisition and development projects along with 2,000 acres of land acquisition across North America. She was responsible for the project management of a 12-million square foot intermodal facility.
Mrs. Heaney earned degrees in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – School of Business.
Jennifer finds spreadsheets oddly therapeutic, spots grammar mistakes instantly, and considers a good puzzle the perfect way to unwind.

Mrs. Colias, Finance and Operations Manager at Ketone Partners, is responsible for financial asset management of Ketone’s real estate portfolio and development platforms. Mrs. Colias has a background in performing due diligence for asset-based debt financing at GE Capital, Commercial Finance, and underwriting middle marketing leveraged loans at GE Capital, Merchant Banking Group. Mrs. Colias also provided financial support to several cost centers at Kraft Foods.
Kathleen has also held leadership roles in multiple volunteer organizations in and around Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Colias earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Fun fact about Kathleen: her brother, Ted Martin, holds the world record for footbag (hacky sack) with 63,326 consecutive kicks in 8 hours 50 minutes.

Mr. Gale serves as Director of Corporate Development at Ketone Partners, where he is responsible for driving the firm’s growth through strategic leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and partnership initiatives.
Before joining Ketone Partners, Mr. Gale was an Analyst at Arbor Realty Trust in New York, Boston, and Miami, where he underwrote, structured, and closed multifamily loans nationwide across Agency, bridge, preferred equity, and mezzanine executions. Earlier in his career, he gained development and capital markets experience with L&L Holding Company and Cushman & Wakefield’s Institutional Capital Markets Group, contributing to underwriting, due diligence, and asset repositioning across major urban markets.
Mr. Gale earned degrees in Finance and Real Estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys live music and outdoor adventures, fueled by his appreciation for a fresh coconut water.
